Alexander V. Filipenko

Born on May 31, 1950 in Karaganda. Higher education. In 1973 graduated from the Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy (SibADI), specialization in bridge engineering. PhD in Sociology.

1967-1968 - adjuster (1st grade) at Kirova Plant (Petropavlovsk)

1968-1973 - student of the Siberian Automobile and Road Institute n.a. V.V. Kuibyshev.

1977-1982 - instructor, Head of Construction Unit at Khanty-Mansiysk District Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

1982-1983 - Acting Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, First Deputy Chairman of the Khanty-Mansiysk District Executive Committee.

1983-1987 - First Secretary of the Berezovskiy District Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

1987-1989 - Second Secretary of the Khanty-Mansiysk District Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

1989-1991 - Chairman of the Khanty-Mansiysk District Executive Committee.

1991-1996 - Head of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District Administration.

1996-2010 - Governor of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra, Chairman of the Government of Khanty-Mansiysk.

Autonomous District - Yugra.

On March 3, 2010 the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation appointed A.V. Filipenko Auditor of the RF Accounts Chamber.

He was granted with the state awards as listed: Order of Merit for Country (II and IV Degree), Order of Honour, Medal for Mineral Resources Exploitation and Oil&Gas Complex Development, and others.

Awarded the titles: honorary title "Honoured Builder of the Russian Federation", title "Honorary Builder of the Russian Federation".

Married, has two children and five grandchildren.
