Control over the Federal Budget expenditures for international activity
Born on April 1st, 1948, in the village of Kurochkino, Talmensk District, Altai Territory, Russia.
In 1971 Mr. Kosourov graduated from the V.V.Kuibyshev Novosibirsk Construction Engineering Institute with specialization in production of building units and structures, in 1982 - from the Academy of Social Sciences of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Central Committee.
1971-1972 - Shift Foreman and Production Engineer, Cherepanovo Walling Constructions Production Plant, Novosibirsk Region.
1972-1987 - young communist league and communist party official.
1987-1991 - Deputy Head, Executive Committee of Novosibirsk Region Peoples' Deputies Council.
1991-1994 - Deputy Head, Administration of Novosibirsk Region.
1994-2000 - General Director, Open Corporation "Rusinprom".
2000-2003 - First Deputy Head, Administration of Novosibirsk Region.
2003-2005 - Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (4th assembly), Deputy Head, State Duma Committee on Local Government.
Since March 18th, 2005, Mr. Kosourov has been holding a position of the Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of Russian Federation being appointed by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Mr. Kosourov is married and has two sons.
