Born on May 26th, 1955.

In 1974 Mr. Tabachkov graduated from Chelyabinsk Construction Assembly College of the Ministry of Assembly and Special Construction of the USSR, in 1980 - from the Marshal of the Soviet Union S.S. Biryuzov Higher Military and Political College at Riga, in 1987 - from the L.I. Brezhnev Higher Military and Political Artillery and Tank College at Sverdlovsk, in 1995 - from the Banking School of the Central Bank of Russian Federation, in 2003 - from the Russian Academy of Public Services of the President of Russian Federation. Mr. Tabachkov is retired Colonel.

May 1974 - June 1981 - performed duty in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

June 1981 - May 1982 - Foreman, Gydrospetsstroy Construction Directorate, the City of Chelyabinsk.

May 1982 - December 1992 - performed duty in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

January 1993 - July 1998 - performed duty at Chelyabinsk Regional Office of the Federal Tax Police of the Russian Federation.

1998 - December 1999 - Head, Chelyabinsk Regional Office of the Russian Union of Afghanistan War Veterans.

December 1999 - December 2003 - Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (3rd assembly), Member, State Duma Budget and Tax Committee, Member, Credentials Committee of the State Duma.

December 2003 - March 2005 - Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (4th assembly), Deputy Head, State Duma Budget and Tax Committee, Member, Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on the Causes and Circumstances of the September 1-3, 2004, Beslan Terrorists' Attack in the Republic of North Ossetia - Alaniya, Russian Federation, Member, State Duma Commission for Examination of Federal Budget Expenditures Allocated for Defence and Security of the Russian Federation.

On March 18th, 2005, Mr. Tabachkov was appointed by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation as Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Tabachkov is decorated with the Order of the Red Star, USSR Military Service Order, III grade, medals, and name weapon.
